Andrea Lynn Bixler, 59, of Spencer, passed away at home on Friday evening, September 4, 2026. Born in Indianapolis on June 19, 1967, Andrea was the daughter of Hal D. Job and Sandra (Whitaker) Raisor. She was a 1986 graduate of Tri County High School and later attended beauty school.Andrea’s life was rooted in faith, family, and the little things that made ordinary days meaningful. She was a proud member of Shiloh Wesley Church in Spencer, where her faith remained an important part of who she was. She found joy in collecting photographs and preserving memories through scrapbooking, carefully holding on to the people, places, and moments that mattered most to her.Music was another of Andrea’s great loves, especially the music of Prince. Whether she was listening to a favorite song, working on a scrapbook, celebrating Christmas, or spending time with family, Andrea had a way of bringing personality, warmth, and joy into every moment. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in everything the season represented - tradition, decorations, togetherness, and making memories with those she loved.Above all else, Andrea cherished her family. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love will continue to live on in the stories shared, the photographs she preserved, the music that brings her to mind, and the family traditions she held so dear.She is survived by her parents; step-mother, Rosemary; her beloved husband, Donald Ray Bixler, whom she married on June 6, 1987; her daughter, Sarah Bixler; her son, Chris Bixler; her grandchildren, Matthew Bixler and Ely Bixler; and her siblings, Dean Job (Samantha), Mark May, Kam Price (Eric), and Sandra May.A funeral service celebrating Andrea’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, of Walton Funeral Service, with Pastor Dr. Diane Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of service.Online condolences may be shared at www.westparrishpedigo.com.

John William Wigal, 89, of Paragon, Indiana, a lifetime Morgan County resident, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday evening, September 3, 2026.John was one of nine children born to the late Claude and Cora (Warthen) Wigal. He was born on Friday, April 9, 1937, in Paragon, Indiana. John was known and cherished by everyone who knew him, bringing much light, mischief and joy wherever he went. He truly earned his reputation as the community’s town clown. John would oftentimes be seen riding his moped through town and loved riding to the river, where he enjoyed spending idle time. He also found great joy in gardening, fishing, hunting and trapping.John attended Paragon School and worked most of his life in construction, working alongside his brother, Slug, for Wigal Construction.John leaves behind a host of loving family, including his wife, whom he married on August 12, 1959, Virginia Sue “Suzi” (Daggy) Wigal of Paragon; his sons, Jonathon Wayne Wigal (Amy) of Gosport, Indiana, and Carl Eugene Wigal of Paragon; daughters, Lisa Jane Dickey of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Pamela Sue Thomas (Jeff) of Gosport, Indiana; his sister, Bertha Bryant of Martinsville; grandchildren, Crystal Thomas, Shanell Humphrey (Jacob), Kaitlyn Vehling (Jered), Cheyenne Wigal (Kyle Cherry) and Destanie Dickey; and five great-grandchildren.John was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur “Slug,” James and Dennis Wigal; and four sisters, Violet Stevenson, Lucille Carroll, Virginia Carmichael and Helen Austin.John’s friendly smile and comical personality will be deeply missed and always remembered by those who knew and loved him, especially the town of Paragon.In honoring his wishes, John will be laid to rest at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon, and there will be no service at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Park Cemetery Association and mailed to 790 Valley Drive, Martinsville, IN 46151.Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center has been entrusted with arrangements.
